It´s the core of municipal democracy, also it is a workplace, political tribune, a place for distinctions, receptions and events: The Council Chamber of the City of Guetersloh, situated on the seventh floor of the Town Hall. The flexible Interior was provided by furniture manufacturer Kusch+Co. And the retractable Monitors were supplied by the German Monitor Specialist ELEMENT ONE.
The segment-shaped tables of the council members are fully electrified and have concealed connection panels. The tables of the chairmen were equipped with integrated, Retractable Monitors VERSIS 220/75. Modesty panels cover the leg room and ensure a clear overall picture. All tables are mobile on rolls, have swiveling plates and can be stored, dismantled and stacked in a space-saving manner. This allows them to use the room at any time.
The technical challenge was that, in the case of a parliamentary table arrangement, the chairmen were sitting with its back to the projected picture. A clearly visible second monitor therefore had to be included in the technical concept. If necessary, the chairmen can getting the 22-inch monitor out of the desktop in order to view the contents.
